AGRIMAT LIMITED’s core business activity is the importation and distribution of a wide range of agricultural inputs, chemicals like pesticides, organic and inorganic fertilizations, seeds and several related products. Agrimat is in the forefront of assisting the Agricultural industry in the production of quality exportable products by providing appropriate seeds.

Administrative Structures

Training and Marketing Department: The training & Marketing department undertakes training programs for farmers in proper agricultural methods in using our range of products. It is also this department that introduces new products to farmers when they are imported. This is to make sure the farmers are properly trained to use the products appropriately in order to derive maximum benefit.

Retail Outlet: Agrimat runs a physical retail shop which sells directly to the general public a wide range of agricultural inputs like seeds fertilizers, poultry and livestock products, crop protection products etc.

The Farm Machinery and Agric Engineering Department is made up mechanics/Technicians who are involved in the servicing of field agricultural equipment such as tractors, water pumps, planters and harrows that are used for farm mechanization.

Agrimat Irriagation Department: Agrimat is also involved in the supply and installation of good quality irrigation equipment for both small scale and large scale farmers. We are also involved in the drilling of boreholes in order to make water easily available to farmers both for irrigation, livestock and household use. We also have the technical knowhow to create water holding reservoirs to enable a farmer store water for use for farming activities.

Agrimat Engineering: This department ensures that farmers have access to and knowledge of appropriate machinery and tools for their farming practices to develop a sustainable agriculture. Also, as specialist in agricultural mechanization, we provide technical knowledge and delivers agricultural solutions to farmers through provision of tractors, planters, sprayers, slashers/mowers, water pumps and sprinklers, as well as replacement parts.

Agrimat Irrigation: To be the leader in the development and setting up irrigation systems on farms, promotion and utilization of available water resources for agricultural use to ensure food security and sustainable livelihoods. Also, as irrigation specialists, we provide technical training and assist farmers in implementing the best reliable irrigation practices available in irrigated agriculture.

Post-Harvest & Storage Department: The main activity of this department is the introduction of modern and effective post-harvest processing and storage technologies to farmers.

HealthCare Department: This section currently specializes in the distribution of PUBLIC HEALTH AND PEST CONTROL PRODUCTS. Products we sell are Insecticides, spraying machines including Compression pumps, Insecticides for indoor residual Spraying, Various kinds of Safety and Protective ware.

Our Objective is to provide total agricultural solution that would enhance sustainable food production in sub-Sahara Africa in general and in Ghana particularly. Our Vision is to build a world class of value-added agricultural materials in Africa.
